SHUT UP AND SHOOT
I have been writing A LOT in these last few months, living life to the fullest and pouring it all out in these blog posts. It’s definitely therapeutic and a it’s muscle I enjoy stretching and flexing. However, sometimes the photos - and the experience - deserve to speak for themselves.
So I went to Brookgreen on Sunday, a place that I would now call my home turf, and shot by myself, in pure silent bliss for the entire day.
No agenda or schedule to stick to, no plan or shot in my head… in fact, nothing in my head at all - I stopped to meditate/nap under a 400 year old tree before I started shooting. No headphones, no yapping, no auto-focus beeps. Shooting on manual, taking my sweet, sweet time in a complete state of quietness. Practicing a craft that I love, in a place that I love, to the beautiful soundtrack of nothing. All day long.
Ladies and gentlemen, Brookgreen Gardens, in it’s own words.
