I found this mirror for $8 the Surfside Goodwill and knew instantly that it belonged in a photo shoot. It had that fairy-tale, main-bad-guy-in-Sleeping-Beauty type vibe to it, so I had to find a setting and theme appropriate for the shoot. Luckily I have some beautiful woods behind my apartment so I started there. I built a custom stand for the mirror out of old recycled plastic and a tripod, then set it up in middle of the trees and began brainstorming. Originally a solo mission, I eventually decided that I was not the ideal subject for this one and reached out my friend Tonya to see if she was interested. She ‘understood the assignment’ as the kids would say lol. Perfect dress, perfect vibe. Spent some time editing out the mirror stand to make it look like it was floating magically. Turned out lovely, thank you Tonya!
