Wilis Dady Run and Ride 2018

This organization/event has a special place in my heart. Wilis Dady is a local non-profit that provides shelter and opportunities to the homeless and support for Veterans in the Cedar Rapids area. I’ve been participating in the event since day 1, back when it was the ‘Wilis Dady 5k Run for Shelter' and even placed 3rd in my age group one year (this will never happen again, seeing the turnout has increased every year, haha.) So having the opportunity the last couple of years to document the event as a volunteer means a lot to me and I don’t take the gig lightly! While most of what I turned in are fairly unextraordinary shots, I of course tried to get artsy on a few, which I’ve shared below. Hope they are able to use some for marketing this wonderful event in the future, go check them out and donate if you can, here.
